Vegas here I come!

I'll be attending #HNS2025 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in June! It will be my first time in Vegas as an adult (I remember driving through it as a kid in the 80s with my family). I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow writers, attending sessions that will inspire and help me as a writer, and having a good time with friends. My first Historical Novel Society conference was in Oxford, UK in 2016. I couldn't believe that I could meet hundreds of other people just like me. And not only was it a dream come true to hang with history geeks and book lovers, they were historical novel WRITERS, both professional and aspiring. Even nine years later, it's still a "pinch me" moment. When I arrived in Oxford that year, I had a dream and a half-finished manuscript. Since that conference, I've published two novels, won awards, been invited to speak at many historic sites and book clubs, and sold many books. Being a writer is a dream come true for me. My work is only just getting started.
