Philly Phambassador Camp! Gearing up for America 250

On Saturday, March 14th, I went to camp! Pham Camp! 2026 is an exciting year for us here in Philly. It's the 250th anniversary of becoming a nation. Pham Camp is a one-day event that's held each month to encourage Philadelphians to promote the city, build community, and show everyone what Philly’s made of. We are prepared to welcome the world this year! Did you know the United States began in Philadelphia? The Declaration of Independence and Constitution were born here, and the 8-year revolutionary war was guided by the new Congress stationed here in Philadelphia. As an author and historian of the American Revolution, Philadelphia of 1776 is as near to me, and as detailed, as the city I live in now in 2026. This is my city, and I'd love to show it to you.
